Please welcome one of GPI’s newest staff members, Arianne Hutchins.  Through the fortune of good connections, Arianne has landed on GPI’s doorstep as our newest Project Coordinator.

While Arianne has considerably more experience with video games, she’s very much looking forward to diving into our world. She hopes to soon be traveling to Hong Kong and promenading around conventions to familiarize herself with the process and the people who make ‘fun’ possible. She says that she’s particularly excited to help game makers along their journey from concepts to shelves and everywhere in between.

Arianne’s favorite card game is Cards Against Humanity, which is pretty on-brand for her sense of humor. However, her more family-friendly favorite is the classic Scattegories, where being frustrated is more of a team sport.

Arianne is passionate about lifelong learning.  She has earned her master’s degree in art education at Boston University. She’s been many things in her past lives with a strong focus on non-profit work and education; She’s been a daycare/preschool teacher, a photographer, a videographer, a radio host, a digital marketer, and a student loan counselor to name a few!  She’s always a little ‘extra.’

With CNY approaching and knowing 2022 is the Year of the Tiger, we decided to look up Arianne’s sign to see if there is any truth to all of this.  And we are now believers, Arianne was both under the sign of the Dragon.  In Chinese culture, the dragon represents good luck, strength, and health. The personality traits of people born in the year of the dragon are: charismatic, intelligent, confident, and powerful.  All traits we are thrilled to have in our newest staff member!
