Please welcome Tom Wetzel, as well.  Tom is GPI’s newest Account Manager who also came to us through the fortune of good connections.  Take note: networking works, meeting people, and keeping connected to them will someday pay off for you, like it did for us!

Tom comes to us from Thames & Kosmos where he worked for six years helping develop and market board games and science toys. The only thing Tom loves more than working with board games are the wonderful friends he has made in the industry, and Jeni’s Ice Cream in Columbus, OH.

Tom has a real passion for all things board games. He grew up playing the standard board games and was introduced to designer games in college. When asked what his favorite kind of board game is, Tom said “I’ll play any game twice.”

After an intense three hour game by Martin Wallace, Tom unwinds by repairing vintage small engines. Tom also enjoys creative woodworking, baking bread, growing tomatoes, and waterslides.

And we know you are wondering – Tom was born under the sign of the Rooster.  Which means he’s loyal and trustworthy.  Roosters are sociable, very accomplished,  as well as shrewd and daring.  All excellent traits for a co-worker as well as an Account Manager!
